Sun, November 01, 2020 @ 07:30PM To Sun, November 01, 2020 @ 09:00PM
Every year, immediately after Americans celebrate Halloween Mexicans celebrate one of their most festive holidays: Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead). The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and helping support their spiritual journey. (Wikipedia)
On November 1, join an expert virtual guide as we learn the history of this holiday, all religious symbols, and modern celebrations today throughout Mexico. We will follow with a replay of music and dance from celebrations that took place last year at the Mexican Cultural Institute.
