During the days of the Soviet Union, the Red Square and the Kremlin were the symbols of the Communist Party throughout the world.

Today, their mention either evokes a similar symbol, or a place where Russians shop, prey, tour, and even skateboard

Join a live virtual guide as we tour the history and surroundings of Red Square, including Lenin’s Tomb, GUM (the giant shopping Mall), and St. Basil’s Cathedral.   Then, our guide will take us (virtually) inside the Kremlin where we will see where the Duma meets, the offices of the President, and the state rooms and artwork within.

Our guide will discuss the 100-year history of Red Square and how it was sacred to some, and feared by others, throughout the Cold War.

Note: Our live guide will be using photos, art (and perhaps other media) during the tour. He will cover the history and modern significance of each location. we visit.)

Note:  All Zoom links to attend the tour will be sent 30 minutes before the event (to the email you register with).
