Believe it or not, what we in this country as the Salem Witch Trials was actually a very brief period of time-based on hysteria and suspicion, coupled with the heavy hand of Puritan New England traditions. But it happened, and the story is unpleasant, and perfect for this time of year.

Join us as we learn the backstory of the supposed “witches”, the trial, the outcome, and a town that will always be remembered for what happened in the year 1692.

We will also tour the modern town of Salem and compare the 21^st century views to the historic and legendary landmarks.

Highlights will include the historical burial ground, the memorial added just a few years ago, and the actual location where things began, now occupied by a former insane asylum just twelve miles north of Boston.

Note:  All Zoom links to attend the tour will be sent 30 minutes before the event (to the email you register with).

TIME IS BASED ON EASTERN STANDARD TIME.  If this does not work for you, however, upon the completion of the event you can request a temporary recording.
